How inshorts.space collects, processes, and protects your voice recordings, interview transcripts, and account information.
1. Voice Recordings & Spoken Transcripts
When you click Record 60s Voice Answer in the practice studio, your browser captures microphone audio to create a downloadable .WAV practice file and generate your 4-pillar interview scorecard.
- Recordings stay in your active browser session unless you explicitly submit a take for AI scoring.
- You can delete any recorded take immediately using the trash icon next to the recording.
- We never sell, rent, or share student voice recordings with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information required to deliver your interview coaching experience:
- Practice Inputs: Spoken transcripts, Mains descriptive practice answers, and resume project lines submitted for rubric evaluation.
- Contact Inquiries: Name, email address, and organization details submitted voluntarily through our Contact Us form.
3. Data Encryption & Security
All traffic between your browser and inshorts.space is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. Scoring requests are processed over encrypted server-side endpoints and are never exposed publicly.
4. Student Data Deletion & Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection laws (Digital Personal Data Protection Act) and international privacy standards, you have the right to request access to or permanent deletion of any personal data associated with your email address.
